E-cigarettes not safe like regular cigarettes?

Senator Wants To Snuff Out E-Cigarettes

The government makes a ton of money from the sale of cigarettes, not to mention the medical mafia that steals the wealth of cancer patients before murdering them with their “treatments”.

Perhaps a device that delivers the nicotine without all of the other poisonous chemicals found in normal cigarettes would be a threat to both groups?

Study Says Many Baby Bath Products Unsafe

Via WMTW:

The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics had baby shampoos, bubble baths and lotions tested for a chemical called 1,4-dioxane and formaldehyde.

Researchers found many products contained the substances, which the FDA does not require on product labels.

People get lulled into complacency because the assumption is made that the FDA is looking out for them and that if the FDA fails to declare something to be unsafe it must be safe for consumption.

On the other hand, if competition were allowed in the market place, the producers and sellers of these products would go to great lengths to demonstrate to the consumer how safe their product is.

In other words, there would be an incentive to go above and beyond the minimum standards set by the politicized alphabet-soup agencies under control by politicians and the wealthy lobbyists/corparations who pull their strings.

Esoteric Agenda

LD 373

Bill Text: An employer shall provide an appropriate private, secure and sanitary room or other location where the employee under subsection 2 can express her milk in privacy. The room or location must be in close proximity to the work area and may not be a bathroom.

I am 100% in favor of breastfeeding over formula. And I am 100% against the state telling private businesses what services must be provided to employees.

Instead of forcing employers to turn their property into nurseries away from home, how about cutting taxes on working people so that mothers can afford to stay home and raise their children?

NH Man Charged In Slow-Speed Chase

A Manchester, N.H., man faces charges after police say he led officers on a slow-speed chase through the city.

Police say officers tried to stop 22-year-old Lionel Cole after noticing a broken brake light around 12:15 Tuesday morning. Investigators say Cole drove off at normal speed, often stopping at stop signs and red lights, with a cruiser behind him running its siren and blue lights.

Eventually, Cole got out of his car in the parking lot of his apartment building. Police say he fought with officers who tried to arrest him.

Ooh. A broken brake light. Good thing there were armed government agents on duty to protect and serve the population of Manchester by apprehending and punishing this renegade outlaw.

Another victim of the “war on drugs”

Authorities say Brito fled from a Salem motel in November, when one of three drug mules he hired began absorbing small bags of cocaine lodged in her digestive tract.

Twenty-five-year-old Mally Cruz Rodriguez died and her sister was treated for drug intoxication. Police say they had swallowed bags of cocaine as part of an operation led by Brito.

If smuggling cocaine weren’t necessary, Mally Rodriguez would be alive. If there weren’t such obscene profits to be made from drug trafficking, drug dealers could find productive work and police wouldn’t have to spend time and money chasing people from New Hampshire to Puerto Rico.

Freedom is incarceration

The propaganda industry in America is very lucrative and very successful. Just look around and listen to all those who STILL insist that America is “the land of the free”.

Lockup

In 2007, over 7.3 million people were under some form of correctional supervision including:

Probation – court ordered community supervision of convicted offenders by a probation agency. In many instances, the supervision requires adherence to specific rules of conduct while in the community.

Prison – confinement in a State or Federal correctional facility to serve a sentence of more than 1 year, although in some jurisdictions the length of sentence which results in prison confinement is longer.

Jail – confinement in a local jail while pending trial, awaiting sentencing, serving a sentence that is usually less than 1 year, or awaiting transfer to other facilities after conviction.

Parole – community supervision after a period of incarceration. These data include only adults who are on active or inactive parole supervision or some other form of conditional release, including mandatory release, following a term of incarceration.

Wiping out the middle class

‘Manchurian Candidate’ Starts War on Business

The empire is in collapse, and the people desperately turned to Barack Obama to restore their fantasy world of ever appreciating home values and 401k retirement accounts that enjoyed double digit returns every year. Unfortunately, not enough of the people have yet woken up to the nightmare we are all living.

The elites and uber-wealthy have long ago declared a war against the middle class, for the middle class is is the greatest threat to those who hold a great concentration of the planet’s wealth.

As this article lays out, Obama couldn’t have done a worse job of trying to settle the economy if he tried. Where the author is wrong, however, is that he seems to assume that Obama’s goal is to help the economy rebound. I don’t think that is the case at all.

The only question that remains in my mind is whether or not the middle and upper middle class yuppies who fancy themselves to be financially secure will ultimately realize that they have been sold out and that their meager wealth is going to be stolen by the same bankers who have stolen trillions already in the past several months since “TARP” was rolled out.

Boxer looking to destroy parental rights

Sen. Barbara Boxer is urging the U.S. to ratify a United Nations measure meant to expand the rights of children, a move critics are calling a gross assault on parental rights that could rob the U.S. of sovereignty.

The California Democrat is pushing the Obama administration to review the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child, a nearly 20-year-old international agreement that has been foundering on American shores since it was signed by the Clinton administration in 1995 but never ratified.

Obama Says U.S. Losing in Afghanistan

Let me guess. Obama plans to spend a whole bunch more money on the Afghanistan war, and then we’ll find out nothing has changed but all the money is gone. Maybe we’ll even end up with a brand new US Embassy in Kabul to show for it. Maybe we can even support tens of thousands of “residual forces” in Afghanistan for a few decades in order to “secure the peace”.

Senator Diamond trades freedom for publicity once again

Senator Diamond was busy condemning free speech before the session even began over the alleged “racist sign” in Standish, and now he’s going to mandate CO detectors in every house in order to save 1-5 lives per year.

Don’t get me wrong, every life is important. While the produce, dairy and livestock products we are being fed are laden with all sorts of dangerous chemicals ignored by the bought and paid for FDA, while the number of infanticides being carried out at “family planning clinics” around the state continues to grow unabated, while Maine’s young men and women continue to be shipped to Iraq and Afghanistan to get maimed and killed for the glory of the empire, Senator Diamond has courageously taken on the pressing issue of the 1-5 people each year who are not smart enough to obtain and maintain a working carbon monoxide detector in their home.

Thanks a lot Senator.
